History: Gilbert hails from a village terrorized by dire rats. As a young adult he joined a group advocating for an improvement in Human conditions. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

Personality: He will use flattery and sarcasm to attack and weaken his opponents. Despite his formidable combat skills he remains a coward. He moves from fascination to fascination almost instantaneously. If something can keep his interest for a month it is impressive.

History: Heir to a fortune, his parents put a great deal of effort into curing his disease. From his teen years he was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on him. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Motivation: He uses money and sex appeal to get what he needs; and he is greedy

Personality: He has a very dry and sarcastic sense of humor. He is not one for noise or eating so much, which is in direct contrast with his big mouthed big gutted partner. His partner is his best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. He will often invite strangers home for dinner and talk their ears off. He cares deeply for his spouse and does his best to make sure his guests look presentable.

History: He comes from a rich western family. He found a children's book about a Human Barbarian who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story.
