History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: He is a melancholic, but persistent worker. He resents family life and as such spurns the advances of admirers. He is cautious and jumpy. He reacts to every sound and lacks any concept of subtlety.

History: He was born in the north. Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Humans in Nicholas's homeland. Nicholas decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. Recently a tribe of drow attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Nicholas fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the south. He helped his mother out around the business and became quite the natural. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Adventurer for the past few years.
