History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. He spends most of his days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There he gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Gerard grew up listening to his mother's many stories. Like his mother and his sister before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Cook. He eventually got the idea of being the protector of his homeland from reading books, and has made it his duty.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. A serious injury left his father unemployed and in need of constant care. His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm father.
