History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. Shane's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. After a long history of fighting, Shane and his spouse have recently divorced.

History: Diggory was born with his father's beautiful face. He found a children's book about a Human Warrior who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature crossbow.

Motivation: He's looking for his big break.

Personality: He has two modes he varies between. On the job he is cold, steely and emotionless. Off the job he is a party animal. He spends most of his days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There he gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.

History: His necromantic talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. By chance he met his sister recently and the two have been together since.

Motivation: Marry his sister to traveling adventurers; and his relatives are trying to arrange a marriage

History: A powerful brothel owner made him what he is. His homeland was ravaged by war and he spent much of his life rebuilding it. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.

Motivation: He is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally.

History: The child of western immigrants he idolized his mother. He inherited a moderately successful company from his mother. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Motivation: Human compassion; and he has money and likes to spend it
