History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. Through the years after Gilbert was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. History: He was born in the south. His father was a soldier and died while he was still young. Gilbert was left his father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He left for the south, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Dyer and was forced into it by his family; and find a way to reverse the transformation of his brother

Personality: He can speak with the recently deceased. His brief stint in the army gave him the idea he was invincible and that he is the toughest man alive.

History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. He has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to him frivolously. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. A few years later when the south was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He used his abilities to travel the world and help people.
