History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. He is motivated by money and will often try and persuade people to work for cheap. He haggles over everything, upselling his goods and buying cheap. He is persistent in everything.

History: He was born into a rich family. A freak accident while working with his Priest mother left him crippled. Some 6 years later his spouse died after the birth of his son. Heartbroken, Adelard never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his son whom he trained as his mother had trained him before.
