Personality: He considers himself the protector of his home. He feels this is his duty and calling. He can see the true alignment of people by looking at them, and uses this to pass judgement.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Body Guard. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.

Personality: He is quite gentle and does not know the full extent of his strength. He works very hard to maintain that gentleness. He is a bit of a macho man and will challenge people to random contests of strength and skill, and invite them to random hunting and fishing trip.

History: Godfrey was born in the east. At a young age he loved to build and create. There was a wharf not far from home where he often wandered off to fish. Recently a tribe of illithids attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Godfrey fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever.

Description: This petite short man is perpetually holding a sweet of some kind. He typically wears a sleeveless long coat of deep black leather and dull tan iron scale mail, marred by sweets. His brown hair is knotted and matted. He wears large thick round spectacles.

Personality: He does not believe in betrayal or weakness as things to be tolerated. The war was a terrible time for him, and Diggory does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious western family, he was no stranger to responsibility. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He loathes his own lifestyle.

Personality: He will use flattery and sarcasm to attack and weaken his opponents. Despite his formidable combat skills he remains a coward. He has a minor phobia of water and hates getting wet.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. Since his father passed away years ago, his mother had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

Motivation: He feels threatened by others; and he is wracked by social anxiety

Personality: He is quiet and reserved most of the time, but warms up to people very quickly. Around friends he is liable to tell dirty jokes and enjoy himself. He has a habit of throwing himself into exceedingly dangerous situations.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. He inherited a moderately successful company from his father. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He now mingles about in high society.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions; and his religion dominates his actions
