History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Don grew up listening to his mother's many stories. Before the accident, he was one of the most outspoken anti-Human activists. He was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Human doctor. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when gnolls swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. At a young age he wooed the heart of his future spouse and the two had a long relationship before they wed. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

Motivation: He wants revenge against gnolls; and a need for knowledge about a nearby landmark
