History: He was born in the east, but his parents moved at a very young age to the west. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Humans in the east were limited. He got away from his former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. A serious injury left his mother unemployed and in need of constant care. His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm mother. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

Motivation: To reunite with his old friends; and a need for knowledge about a nearby landmark

Personality: Chad wants to be seen as a stoic, levelheaded, noble Monk, so he tries to act the part. He does a good job, for the most part... He will do just about anything if he becomes convinced it is for someone's true love, of this he is easily convinced.
