Description: His right side is far more bruised and cut up than his other. He wears rags and sports a simple walking cane. His auburn hair has been sun bleached extensively. His eyes are hazel and catlike.
Personality: He resents people who mock his appearance or him, so he has learned to be the meanest son of a gun. He loves his children and doesn't want them to worry about him. He loves to share his poetry with anyone who is interested.
History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. Being born in the north, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the north for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way south. He has since lost track of the people in his past.
Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever; and marry his brother to traveling adventurers

Description: He wears an amalgamation of clothes and depending on the season will wear more layers of the continuing hodge podge, and carries ceremonial daggers. His silver hair is thinning but still full. He has several tiny sapphire earrings on each ear.
Personality: He is quiet and reserved most of the time, but warms up to people very quickly. Around friends he is liable to tell dirty jokes and enjoy himself. He is however nostalgic and wants to reunite with his old comrades. He has some compunction and patriotism and will work for the government before all other clients.
History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. His father worked until he suffered an accident while they were digging through a hill for a new route. He had to support his now crippled father and took his father's old job. He has became unsatisfied with his lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.
Motivation: To reunite with his old friends; and retire the richest man in the east

History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the west. Since his father passed away years ago, his mother had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. He now spends his time doing works of charity.

Description: What flesh remains visible is marred by burns. He prefers to wear fine silks, though has several suits of combat armor for his hunting needs. His long golden hair reaches down to his waist. He is missing an eye and his face is severely sunburned. His one remaining eye shines blue.
Personality: He believes there is no problem he cannot solve with sufficient elbow grease and persistence, if it is the best or most economic solution matters not. Further he is a bit of a stoner and is frequently out of it.
History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. He found a children's book about a Human Ranger who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.
Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and he's looking for his big break

Personality: He dislikes all the random violence that takes place in the north. He has the money to obtain near anything and knows that if you pay a man enough he will sell his own mother. Money is his most trusted friend.
History: His divine talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. His parents divorced when he was young, and his mother gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.
