History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. He always admired psionic-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. Recently a tribe of illithids attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Dean fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

History: A powerful wizard made him what he is. Since his mother passed away years ago, his father had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature rapier.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when giants swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. His father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his father was legitimate. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
