He helped his father out around the business and became quite the natural. He's also a talented Carpenter, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Motivation: He wants revenge against illithids; and several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge

History: He was born at the edge of vast desert. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. He now mingles about in high society.

Motivation: He uses money and sex appeal to get what he needs.

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. Being born in the north, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the north for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way south. By chance he met his sister recently and the two have been together since.

Motivation: To unite with his sister; and doesn't want to be a bricklayer and was forced into it by his family
