Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by giants. Patrick was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the giants.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. He dropped out of school before completing his studies. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: To share knowledge with the world; and wishes to resurrect an old love

History: Born in the west his family was never financially stable. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. Recently a tribe of drow attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Bernard fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
