History: Shane hails from a village terrorized by illithids. In his 18th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his father impaled in their home, and his mother beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. Since then, he has sought to make the best of life.

Personality: This man loves music and to teach people music more than just about anything. He uses his nature as a weapon; he likes to lead opponents to think him in distress.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. His family was turned out during the war. He and his family wandered south to less war torn lands. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

History: Gifted from a young age, Odo studied abroad. After coming to the age of reason, Odo took it upon himself to study the divine arts in their entirety; because of this, he was labeled a dark omen and banished from his homeland. He has since married many spouses, only to have them die. He claims to not be responsible.

Personality: While he acts the brute, he is far gentler than he would appear. He enjoys reading and quiet.

History: His mother raised him in a mountain cabin. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the mountains to a summer home near a ruined castle. He would wander through that ruined castle and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the mountains due to the painful memories there. Gerard took refuge in the ruined castle and found the beat up bastard sword and armor he uses now. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

History: He was born in a small plains village. Reynard liked to wander the woods near his home when he was young, something he still likes to do at least once a week. He never liked modest clothing or shoes, so he would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and he developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. He has set out to sabotage the competition.
