History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Jocelyn grew up listening to his mother's many stories. While he appears to be a normal Human, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. Lacking all sense, he decided to go on an adventure. He picked a direction and started trekking.

History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Humans in Ralf's homeland. Ralf decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

In his defense of animals however he would do severe harm to people. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to giants demanding more tribute than usual.
