History: Dean was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his father was employed at, doing general labor. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Miller hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He has dedicated himself to building a better village for his children.

He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. By chance he met his sister recently and the two have been together since.

A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. He has never given up on his painting dream.

Personality: While he acts the brute, he is far gentler than he would appear. A true patriot, Godfrey would do anything for his country. He is fiercely protective of his fellow citizens and foreign allies.

History: Godfrey hails from a village terrorized by orcs. From his teen years he was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on him. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to orcs demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by orcs, and he desires to right it; and someone believes him a fraud
