Diggory Whitby, Male Human [Permalink]
Personal [hide]
Description: He wears a violet top hat and violet clothes. His blonde hair, when down, is lengthy. He wears a mask on his face.
Personality: He is inclined to make off color jokes and interpret anything that could be construed as such as innuendo. The war was a terrible time for him, and Diggory does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.
History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Human companion (his 'brother'). He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature morningstar.
Motivation: Money/treasure; and he wants revenge against drow

Lewis Acton, Male Human [Permalink]
Personal [hide]
Description: This man is unhealthily muscled, almost every single one of his veins is visible when he is not flexing. His shirts and pants tend to be short and undersized for him due to the difficulty of finding a good tailor. His chestnut hair has been sun bleached extensively. His eyes are gray and catlike.
Personality: He has a very dry and sarcastic sense of humor. He is not one for noise or eating so much, which is in direct contrast with his big mouthed big gutted partner. His partner is his best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. He is a logical person and will generally grow upset if things defy logic and science.
History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. He found a children's book about a Human Druid who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark.
Ideals: Fighting, Athletic, Logical. Flaws: Ugly. Bonds: Adventurer. Occupation: Jeweler
Voice: Speaks fast with a slight lisp

Roland Thorpe, Male Human [Permalink]
Personal [hide]
Description: A man with a warm, jovial air about him, he tends to wear a black poncho over his likewise colored trousers and shirt. His blonde hair is smooth and relatively long. He has a tattooed face.
Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Roland embodies much of what other species detest in the Humans. He is cautious and jumpy. He reacts to every sound and lacks any concept of subtlety.
History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Roland was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.
Motivation: He is wracked by social anxiety.
Flaws: Antagonistic, Fearful. Bonds: Adventurer, Mentor, Military. Occupation: Locksmith

Robert Sheldon, Male Human [Permalink]
Personal [hide]
Description: This man stands a little under 6'6" and is a bit bulky. He is very muscular particularly in the legs. He is generally well dressed albeit a few years behind the times. He has moderate length white hair. His voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.
Personality: He speaks before he thinks and is too direct. He has zero loyalty and will suck up to whomever is within range, in the hopes of being moved to a better position.
History: He was born at the edge of vast plains. Since his mother passed away years ago, his father had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. Recently he has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.
Motivation: He is wracked by social anxiety; and to prove his worth to the world
