History: Born to a Doctor, his father struggled to pay the bills. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Interpreter work with an outfit from a few towns over. Interpreter work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.

History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Jocelyn was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. His parents enrolled him in a Paladin school at a young age so that he could practice his arcane talents. After a long history of fighting, Jocelyn and his spouse have recently divorced.

History: He is a Deep Scion in disguise. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the island to a summer home near a large cave. He would wander through that large cave and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the island due to the painful memories there. Bernard took refuge in the large cave and found the beat up ceremonial dagger and armor he uses now. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
