History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. He found a children's book about a Human Aristocrat who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Personality: He is inclined to make off color jokes and interpret anything that could be construed as such as innuendo. He also is a firm believer in the manly ideal.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Gomory was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Doctor. He became a Doctor soon after.

This blue eyed southerner is not easily forgotten.

Personality: A rambunctious noisy drunk he knows how to make people feel guilty. His temper goes off on the smallest of things. He tends to lash out at those around him.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his mother. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Cook hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. After a long history of fighting, Nicholas and his spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and obtaining odd cultural human artifacts is his passion

His biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: Heward was born with his mother's beautiful face. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He now owns his own business.

Motivation: To reunite with his absent mother; and wants to open a new tavern

Personality: A skeptical and narcissistic man, Alex's first love is himself. His second love is also himself. Around other people he will do his best to conceal his emotions and appear jolly.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when giants swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He doesn't get along with people that don't share his tastes; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by giants, and he desires to right it
