Personality: He has a massive crush on the younger sibling of the Engraver who has hired him part-time. He is used to getting what he wants. In part because he is a meticulous planner.

History: Percival was raised in a hard working conservative environment. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Human companion (his 'brother'). In the meantime he has taken over work as a Engraver and occasionally as a mercenary.

History: Peter was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Adept, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Adept in service of a powerful lord somewhere. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature club.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when dire rats swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. Like his father and his sister before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Merchant. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Personality: A grumpy guy he will invite people to lunch so he can critique them. Yet he still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. A friendly and beautiful Human, he is rarely seen without a few beauties around his arms. Though a playboy in all rights, he is no lame duck.

History: He comes from a rich western family. He inherited a moderately successful company from his father. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.
