Description: He wears a grey shirt with thin red vertical stripes and black pants. He has a slight overbite and is overall scrawny. He wears a colorful flower in his white hair. He wears large thick round spectacles.
Personality: He is intelligent and cunning, but he will too often allow his rage to get the better of him. He will lose his cool and rely on brute force to carry the day. He lacks moral complications. He does what he is told to by employers but not much else. He spends his money on whatever he fancies at the time.
History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when dire rats swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. Through the years after Trey was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Trey's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.
Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by dire rats, and he desires to right it; and several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge

Description: This man is unhealthily muscled, almost every single one of his veins is visible when he is not flexing. His shirts and pants tend to be short and undersized for him due to the difficulty of finding a good tailor. His auburn hair is lengthy and is close to two feet long. He wears a mask on his face.
Personality: He is not truly malevolent, but he is obsessed with poetry. He constantly tries to fill his life with poetry. He has a habit of throwing himself into exceedingly dangerous situations.
History: Gerard was born with his father's beautiful face. He has had some formal poetry training, and achieved minor success. Recently a tribe of illithids attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Gerard fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
Motivation: He's looking for his big break.

Description: He is a physically imposing light-skinned man. He wears silk and lounges about seductively. His red hair is well kept and his bushy mustache is tapered upwards at the ends. His voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.
Personality: He is intelligent and cunning, but he will too often allow his rage to get the better of him. He will lose his cool and rely on brute force to carry the day. He is fiercely devoted to his mother, and views his mother's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating him from his legal half-brother.
History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his mother and father. His mother taught him the rudiments of the Miner arts, while his father instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. Through the years after Balimaar was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Balimaar's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Tanner they were divorced and he won custody of their son. He worked as a Miner, and he later adopted a second son.
Motivation: He is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally; and wants to raise his children well

History: The child of northern immigrants he idolized his father. Through the years after Trey was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Trey's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.
Motivation: He has passion for adventuring and risk.

Personality: He cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with his opinion, he thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, he can get violently argumentative. He is lazy, self-centered, vain, and jealous.
History: Diggory lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. He has been saving his money to try and buy his brother's freedom.
