Description: 5'10" and muscular, this northern man very much looks the part of a Sculptor. His hair is silver and curly. He has gleaming, smiling blue eyes.
Personality: He dislikes all the random violence that takes place in the north. He is a logical person and will generally grow upset if things defy logic and science.
History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Sculptor. He has set out to sabotage the competition.
Motivation: He'd like to take his coworkers down a peg; and to be a mortician again

Description: A man with a cold, calculating air about him, he wears an entirely white suit with grey socks and a vest with buckled shoes. He wears a colorful flower in his red hair. His voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.
Personality: Alexandre wants to be seen as a stoic, levelheaded, noble Ranger, so he tries to act the part. He does a good job, for the most part... He does not mind isolation but does not hate company and attempts to receive them as best as possible.
History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the west. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Servant hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.
Motivation: He is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally.

Personality: He is calm most of the time but flees social interaction. He believes the world needs to unite to get rid of dire rats once and for all.
History: The child of northern immigrants he idolized his mother. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Human companion (his 'brother'). He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.
Motivation: He wants to meet his childhood hero; and to clean up the streets

Description: A hulking man with gigantic muscles, he wears a black vest and prefers red and blue shirts. His boots appear to have been at one point steel toed but are quite worn down. His black hair is knotted and matted. He tend to wears goggles to shield his eyes.
Personality: He is almost excessively polite to everyone, even when angry. Animals are drawn to him, and he is able to talk to them.
History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. While he appears to be a normal Human, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.
Motivation: He is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by illithids, and he desires to right it

Description: He is scrawny and has patchy silver stubble. He wears a shirt and pants that are bristling with pockets overflowing with maps, compasses, and other navigational equipment. He has a hunchback. He has a long silver beard with little hanging trinkets. He wears a mask on his face.
Personality: He can speak with the dead, and doesn't see much difference between the living and dead. He cannot deal with unfamiliar people for more than a few minutes at a time and if they persist he will grow angry at them.
History: Gifted from a young age, Bertram studied abroad. Before the accident, he was one of the most outspoken anti-Human activists. He was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Human doctor. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.
Motivation: Retire the richest man in the south; and a strong sense of loyalty to human people
