A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. His father disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his father, he was betrayed dozens of times. He got away from his former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. Through the years after Theobald was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Theobald's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He hasn't been sleeping well lately.
