History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when orcs swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. Since his mother passed away years ago, his father had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by orcs. Chad was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the orcs.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by orcs, and he desires to right it.

History: When he was but 4 years old his parents immigrated from the south. Before the accident, he was one of the most outspoken anti-Human activists. He was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Human doctor. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Description: He wears a shirt and pants that are bristling with pockets overflowing with maps, compasses, and other navigational equipment. He carries with him a set of pickaxes on his belt, each one with a aquamarine on the hilt. Sporting a black mohawk and bushy mustache this man's hair draws a lot of attention. He is missing an eye and his face is severely sunburned. His one remaining eye shines amber.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Cory embodies much of what other species detest in the Humans. Energy wise he seems alert and responsive.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his mother. Through the years after Cory was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Cory's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Human companion (his 'brother'). He has dedicated himself to building a better village for his children.

Motivation: Wants to work out more often.
