Personality: He is not truly malevolent, but he is obsessed with painting. He constantly tries to fill his life with painting. He is a thrill seeker, he laughs at people and throws down challenges. He is highly competitive and combative.

History: He comes from a rich eastern family. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. Lacking all sense, he decided to go on an adventure. He picked a direction and started trekking.

Motivation: To reunite with his old friends; and his spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion

Description: He appears as an extremely gaunt Human, and stands approximately 6'4". He wears a large hat to cast shadows over his face and wears ponchos to better hide his body, and his gloved hand is found clutching a pickaxe. His silver hair is smooth and relatively long. He has several tiny topaz earrings on each ear.

Personality: He is very quiet and rarely speaks above a whisper. Don enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for his love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: Don was born in the east. At a young age he loved to build and create. He has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to him frivolously. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Motivation: Regain custody of his daughter; and his relatives are trying to arrange a marriage

Description: He is wearing colorful clothing, dressed as a Carter. He carries with him a set of falchions on his belt, each one with a amethyst on the hilt. His hair is greying and his face has many wrinkles. He has a very pronounced jaw and large eyebrows. He wears rectangular glasses with silver brims.

Personality: He is a very philanthropic person; he spends his free time working at various soup kitchens. Further he is a bit of a stoner and is frequently out of it.

History: He was raised in a desert tribe. Ostracized due to the psionic powers of his oldest brother, he and his siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Humans became a terror of the countryside. Recently a tribe of dire rats attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Bertram fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: He is unsatisfied with his job; and further expansion of business

Description: This tall, slender man wears tight fighting clothing, which leaves very little to the imagination. He keeps his auburn hair in a pixie cut. His fierce hazel eyes like to dwell on things.

Personality: He takes his job very seriously, in part because he fears he cannot get a new one. His actions favor neither the good nor the evil, as he answers to a power that mortal men fail to acknowledge.

History: He got into the Cartwright business at a young age. His childhood dream was to be a Carpenter, but he was a colossal failure. During his travels, Bertram and his party rested in a cavern that was (unknown to them) infused with powerful dark magic. Upon awakening, Bertram discovered the rest of his party dead, transformed into horrible, mindless undead versions of their former selves. Bertram fled the cavern, stopping for breath at a small pool, and only then realizing his own horrible transformation.

Motivation: Meet up once more with his childhood friend.
