Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Alex embodies much of what other species detest in the Humans. He does not trust anyone and sleeps with one eye open.

History: When he was but 6 years old his parents immigrated from the north. Alex was born on a far northern island where he grew up under the tutelage of his mother, an expert Apothecary. He has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Apothecary.

Personality: He has schizophrenia that causes him to hear things that aren't there and will sometimes respond to them. He does not trust anyone and sleeps with one eye open.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. He has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to him frivolously. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. His childhood dream was to be a Scribe, but he was a colossal failure. He has never given up on his poetry dream.

Motivation: He has money and likes to spend it; and retire the richest man in the west

His long black hair is drawn into a two foot long braid. His thin eyebrows rest above his beady gray eyes.

Personality: He's a bit of a prankster. He knows he is clumsy and seen as such and will often feign amnesia after injury. He is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure he is not cheated out of a speck.

History: Hubert was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his mother was employed at, doing general labor. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: To end his boredom.

History: He was born into a rich family. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. Recently a tribe of illithids attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Roger fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: Retire the richest man in the north.
