Personality: He is a melancholic, but persistent worker. He resents family life and as such spurns the advances of admirers. Aldous enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for his love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: He comes from a rich northern family. His mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. Recently a tribe of dire rats attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. History: Adam was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his mother was employed at, doing general labor. Being born in the east, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the east for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way west. He has been saving his money to try and buy his sister's freedom.

Motivation: He is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out; and wants to raise his children well

He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified.
