History: His father raised him in a mountain cabin. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He bought a quarterstaff and has really upped his game hunting, due to his understanding of decoy and ambush.

Motivation: He doesn't get along with people that don't share his tastes; and he has a rivalry with the church that dominates his actions

History: Born in the south to a Cook, Aldous learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Cook. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Personality: He is mildly Human supremacist, though he does not identify as such. He is fiercely devoted to his father, and views his father's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating him from his legal half-brother.

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. Being born in the south, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the south for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way north. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. After a long history of fighting, Thomas and his spouse have recently divorced.
