He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to goblins demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: He is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by goblins, and he desires to right it

Personality: He has always had a great fascination with Human culture. He has the money to obtain near anything and knows that if you pay a man enough he will sell his own mother. Money is his most trusted friend.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. As a young adult he joined a group advocating for an improvement in Human conditions. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

His brown eyes show the wear and tear of someone lonely with a great burden to carry.

Personality: He is fixated on the number 42. He counts his steps and bites of food to keep in track with it. He seems to be used to being ignored and not questioned about it. He refers to his adoptive mother for almost all things he is unsure about, which are numerous. He is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.

History: Theobald hails from a village terrorized by orcs. His mother disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his mother, he was betrayed dozens of times. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.

Motivation: To reunite with his absent mother.

Personality: He is filled with cunning. He likes to feign weakness letting people think he is weak. He does not believe in violence as a means to an end. He is a dedicated Herbalist but believes his peers are too gung-ho.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. A few years later when the west was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He was always very intelligent and has formed a secret society of philosophers.

Motivation: To find somewhere to settle down; and he seems to be bored by most things

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Robert embodies much of what other species detest in the Humans. He moves from fascination to fascination almost instantaneously. If something can keep his interest for a month it is impressive.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. He struck it rich when he found rare goods in large quantities. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Motivation: He has money and likes to spend it; and he is greedy
