History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Gerard was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Glassblower. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: To be a Bookbinder again; and he made a deal with a demon which lead to his current lot in life, and he's becoming increasingly nervous about it

Personality: He has two modes he varies between. On the job he is cold, steely and emotionless. Off the job he is a party animal. He is a big fan of imagination and believes people should spend more time reading and writing.

History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Carpenter work with an outfit from a few towns over. Carpenter work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

His silver hair has been sun bleached extensively. His face possesses mild wrinkles. His smile is extraordinarily sincere though he does not smile often.

Personality: He will use flattery and sarcasm to attack and weaken his opponents. Despite his formidable combat skills he remains a coward. He moves from fascination to fascination almost instantaneously. If something can keep his interest for a month it is impressive.

History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the north. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He has since married many spouses, only to have them die. He claims to not be responsible.
