Description: A man with thick toned arms and a paunchy gut. He sports white clothing, slightly heavier than average wear. His long red hair reaches down to his waist. His amber eyes peer out from beneath his top white hat.

Personality: He has schizophrenia that causes him to hear things that aren't there and will sometimes respond to them. His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Cory is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Cory was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. After coming to the age of reason, Cory took it upon himself to study the arcane arts in their entirety; because of this, he was labeled a dark omen and banished from his homeland. He has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

He has dyed his greying chestnut hair a little too much giving a sharp chestnut color. His face is scarred and worn.

Personality: He misses his glory days as an athlete. He does not mind his job, but it is boring in comparison. Further he is a bit of a stoner and is frequently out of it.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He got away from his former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

Personality: He snorts whenever he laughs or is feeling confident. His philosophy is that everyone needs a friend and as such shows hospitality towards all.

History: The child of western immigrants he idolized his father. He helped his father out around the business and became quite the natural. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: He'd like to take his coworkers down a peg; and to fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever

Personality: This man loves painting and to teach people painting more than just about anything. He cannot deal with unfamiliar people for more than a few minutes at a time and if they persist he will grow angry at them.

History: Gifted from a young age, Theobald studied abroad. He has had some formal painting training, and achieved minor success. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Personality: While he acts the brute, he is far gentler than he would appear. He is fiercely devoted to his mother, and views his mother's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating him from his legal half-sister.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. His family was turned out during the war. He and his family wandered north to less war torn lands. He has worked as a Detective like his mother before him.
