Personality: He has schizophrenia that causes him to hear things that aren't there and will sometimes respond to them. He has a cruel streak; something he gained from his previous mentor. He harbors resentment against his former mentor.

History: A powerful wizard made him what he is. As a young adult he joined a group advocating for an improvement in Human conditions. During his travels, Cory and his party rested in a cavern that was (unknown to them) infused with powerful dark magic. Upon awakening, Cory discovered the rest of his party dead, transformed into horrible, mindless undead versions of their former selves. Cory fled the cavern, stopping for breath at a small pool, and only then realizing his own horrible transformation.

Personality: Aside from being a little slow due to sleep deprivation he is generally quite perceptive. He notices little details and can draw good conclusions from them. He will pursue extreme courses of action in the short term, confident that they cannot fail.

History: Born in the north to a Courier, Randal learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. A gifted student he started as a Soapmaker, but he got bored and became a Courier. Recently the stress of being a Courier has made it difficult for him to sleep.
