History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Nicholas grew up listening to his father's many stories. History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. He moved from fad to fad and when he turned 15 he discovered painting. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: His voice, at times compared to that of a Nymph, lambasts those who consider themselves "civilized" with snide, belittling remarks; the subtle growl he speaks with growing louder in doing so, one can find it most pronounced, despite the otherwise natural purity of his tone. History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. Like his father and his sister before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Butcher. History: The child of western immigrants he idolized his mother. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Humans in the west were limited. He has since married many spouses, only to have them die. He claims to not be responsible.

Motivation: Wishes to resurrect an old love; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by illithids, and he desires to right it
