History: Nicholas lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. His mother worked until he suffered an accident while they were digging through a hill for a new route. He had to support his now crippled mother and took his mother's old job. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: Regain custody of his son; and marry his brother to traveling adventurers

Description: A well shaped man just over fifty, he dresses in blue turtlenecks beneath a white coat with brown slacks. He sports a long blonde beard, and similarly colored long hair. His brown eyes are desperate and heavily dilated. He has the appearance of someone under the heavy influence of drugs.

Personality: He tends to agree with only himself unless someone else's opinion sounds like he can profit from it. He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. He moves from fascination to fascination almost instantaneously. If something can keep his interest for a month it is impressive.

History: When he was but 5 years old his parents immigrated from the east. He found a children's book about a Human Barbarian who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

Motivation: He's repulsed by the PC; and to reunite with his old friends

Description: He is lean but muscular and has a large tan mantle and cape that has been intricately interwoven into his brown robe. His silver hair is lengthy and is close to two feet long. His blue eyes dart around the room hyper actively observing anyone and anything.

Personality: He is quiet and reserved most of the time, but warms up to people very quickly. Around friends he is liable to tell dirty jokes and enjoy himself. Animals are drawn to him, and he is able to talk to them.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Everard grew up listening to his mother's many stories. He inherited a moderately successful company from his mother. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Motivation: He doesn't get along with people that don't share his tastes; and he feels the way he acts is they only way to get by in the world

Personality: He is a very happy person and has lots of energy. To put it simply, he's a very lovable idiot. He believes the world needs to unite to get rid of goblins once and for all.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. As a young child he wandered into the woods despite his mother's warnings against it. Afterwards he claimed he had encountered goblins who tried to eat his hand. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Motivation: Revenge; and a deep hatred of goblins

Personality: He has two modes he varies between. On the job he is cold, steely and emotionless. Off the job he is a party animal. He is a ruthless business man, a trait he acquired from his mother.

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his mother and father. His mother taught him the rudiments of the Detective arts, while his father instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Detective. He struck the Detective job and began his own company from there.
