This search led him directly into Dyer work with an outfit from a few towns over. Dyer work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Dyer for hire.

Personality: He has a very dry and sarcastic sense of humor. He is not one for noise or eating so much, which is in direct contrast with his big mouthed big gutted partner. His partner is his best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. Despite his manner, he is extremely passionate and proud of his job, and he prides himself in being thorough and never missing a detail.

History: He was born in the north. His parents were killed by giants in a raid when he was still a young child. The giants captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by giants. Gerald was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the giants.
