History: Gomory hails from a village terrorized by illithids. There was a wharf not far from home where he often wandered off to fish. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the illithids.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. A serious injury left his father unemployed and in need of constant care. His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm father. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.
