Personality: Cocky and sure of himself, he believes he is the best Guard born in the past three hundred years. He has the money to obtain near anything and knows that if you pay a man enough he will sell his own mother. Money is his most trusted friend.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. His father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his father was legitimate. He eventually got the idea of being the protector of his homeland from reading books, and has made it his duty.

Description: He has a large blue mantle and cape that has been intricately interwoven into his black robe. He carries with him a set of shortspears on his belt, each one with a amethyst on the hilt. His golden hair is styled in orderly dreadlocks. Judging by the bloodshot nature of his eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine he has not slept for days.

Personality: He is a jovial happy person, but he is convinced people are living their lives too quickly. He is cautious and jumpy. He reacts to every sound and lacks any concept of subtlety.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. In his 14th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his mother impaled in their home, and his father beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Personality: He is a hateful person. He taunts others and blames them for his problems. He cannot deal with unfamiliar people for more than a few minutes at a time and if they persist he will grow angry at them.

History: His father raised him in a mountain cabin. His childhood dream was to be a Interpreter, but he was a colossal failure. He now owns his own business.

Motivation: Someone believes him a fraud; and expand his business

Description: A middle-aged man, he wears a worn and beaten armor, and is pretty ugly. His hair is long and auburn with streaks of white, and is pulled back with small grey clips. His beard is white, braided, and well cared for. He has several tiny amethyst earrings on each ear.

Personality: Aside from being a little slow due to sleep deprivation he is generally quite perceptive. He notices little details and can draw good conclusions from them. To his fellows he is seen as friendly and intelligent, but is angry and unforgiving to the so called fatcats and any who do and have associated with them.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. Cursed with unlife at a very young age, Miles has worked very hard to control his curse. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

Motivation: A deep hatred of brigands; and to get a good night's sleep

He wears tight fitting pants and leather jackets. He usually doesn't wear a shirt. He wears his hair in dreadlocks. He has several tiny ruby earrings on each ear.

Personality: He is curt in most of his responses. He prefers to keep his word usage to a minimum to avoid giving away unnecessary information. He is a big fan of imagination and believes people should spend more time reading and writing.

History: Heir to a fortune, his parents put a great deal of effort into curing his disease. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Humans in the east were limited. He has since married many spouses, only to have them die. He claims to not be responsible.

Motivation: To share knowledge with the world; and he is greedy
