Personality: He believes mankind has become decadent and spoiled by the march of civilization and an end should come to life as we know it. Despite his manner, he is extremely passionate and proud of his job, and he prides himself in being thorough and never missing a detail.
History: The child of southern immigrants he idolized his father. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Herbalist for hire.

Description: A stocky darker skinned man, he wears a custom-built plate barding that's adorned with brown lining and desert motifs. He has styled his white hair well, parting it to the left. His gray eyes are slightly larger than normal.
Personality: He is a Laborer first and foremost. He believes firmly that knowledge should be universal. He lacks moral complications. He does what he is told to by employers but not much else. He spends his money on whatever he fancies at the time.
History: When he was but 7 years old his parents immigrated from the west. Like his father and his sister before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Laborer. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.
Motivation: Further expansion of business; and he is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs

Description: This man is bundled in multiple layers and is prepared for a desert trek wearing a turban that covers his face most of the time. He has a penchant for wearing a ring with an oversized amber on his right hand. He has a small bristly mustache and wavy red hair. His blue eyes dart from person to person to random spaces in the air.
Personality: A rambunctious noisy drunk he knows how to make people feel guilty. He is often prim and proper but will on occasion tell either really disgusting or offensive jokes, which seem out of character.
History: Gilbert lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. In his 13th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his father impaled in their home, and his mother beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. By chance he met his sister recently and the two have been together since.
Motivation: An old rival family wants him found.

He cuts an attractive figure and his suit of old armor is well cared for even if it is obsolete. His chestnut hair is cut short with large spiked bangs in the front. He wears large thick round spectacles.
Personality: Peter speaks confidently about a variety of topics with grace. He is clearly well-traveled and educated. Peter enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for his love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.
History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. His father was very strict, and drilled into him lessons on being the perfect gentleman. Some 7 years later his spouse died after the birth of his son. Heartbroken, Peter never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his son whom he trained as his father had trained him before.
Motivation: Nothing but the best is good enough for him; and he doesn't get along with people that don't share his tastes
