Personality: Cocky and sure of himself, he believes he is the best Miller born in the past three hundred years. His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Reynard is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. After coming to the age of reason, Reynard took it upon himself to study the divine arts in their entirety; because of this, he was labeled a dark omen and banished from his homeland. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Personality: He is almost excessively polite to everyone, even when angry. He will pursue extreme courses of action in the short term, confident that they cannot fail.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. His childhood dream was to be a Carpenter, but he was a colossal failure. He has achieved small success as a Merchant.

Motivation: He'd like to take his coworkers down a peg.

Description: An older man who very much looks the part of a Navigator, he is not a threatening figure. His hair is cut close to his head. His eyes are green and beady.

Personality: John is depressed about a lot of things. He tends to be a nihilist. He has zero loyalty and will suck up to whomever is within range, in the hopes of being moved to a better position.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Navigator work with an outfit from a few towns over. Navigator work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He inherited the family business which he has now maintained for 13 years.

Motivation: Sabotage a competitor; and he loathes his own lifestyle

Personality: He is calm most of the time but flees social interaction. He has a minor phobia of water and hates getting wet.

History: Miles was born the youngest of three triplets. His first spouse was a Stableman, they had one son, but his spouse won total custody. Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.

Motivation: Regain custody of his son; and to unite with his sister

Description: This malnourished man is well dressed, constantly wearing a tan suit, black shirt, and blue tie. He has a chestnut handlebar mustache and slicked back chestnut hair. His fierce green eyes like to dwell on things.

Personality: He has schizophrenia that causes him to hear things that aren't there and will sometimes respond to them. Dean enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for his love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: Dean hails from a village terrorized by illithids. His father was a mechanic, and taught him how to fix just about anything. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Motivation: Many illithids want him driven away.
