History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Randal was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. His father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his father was legitimate. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Richard grew up listening to his mother's many stories. Over the years he perfected his riding and shooting skills. Lacking all sense, he decided to go on an adventure. He picked a direction and started trekking.

History: The child of northern immigrants he idolized his mother. Ernest was born on a far northern plains where he grew up under the tutelage of his mother, an expert Sellsword. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

Personality: He considers himself the perfect gentleman. He makes a point to always show proper etiquette and frequently critiques the etiquette of others. He is a great chef.

History: A child with a great deal of singing talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. He always admired necromantic-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to brigands demanding more tribute than usual.
