History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when drow swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. His parents were killed by drow in a raid when he was still a young child. The drow captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by drow. Anselm was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the drow.

Personality: Deceptive and manipulative this western guy figured out how to best use his charms to convince people to do what he wants. He does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of gnolls may trigger it at times.

History: Hugh was born with his mother's beautiful face. He has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to him frivolously. He has dedicated himself to building a better kind of golem.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. As a young adult he joined a group advocating for an improvement in Human conditions. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Tailor for the past few years.

Personality: He believes there is no problem he cannot solve with sufficient elbow grease and persistence, if it is the best or most economic solution matters not. He is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure he is not cheated out of a speck.

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. His parents divorced when he was young, and his father gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his father, who blamed him for driving them apart. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and balancing his hectic life and new mayor responsibilities is difficult
