History: Born in the west to a Spice Merchant, Ralf learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. His father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Spice Merchant.

History: A powerful necromancer made him what he is. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Human companion (his 'brother'). He has dedicated himself to building a better trade route.

Description: An older man who wears a tight fitting green shirt and pants, he is not a threatening figure. His brown hair is lengthy and is close to two feet long. His fierce violet eyes like to dwell on things.

Personality: He is a melancholic, but persistent worker. He resents family life and as such spurns the advances of admirers. He is susceptible to being scared and is in actuality easily frightened. He likes to tell stories.

History: Gilbert was raised in a hard working conservative environment. Like his father and his sister before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Engraver. He now spends his time doing works of charity.

Motivation: Sabotage a competitor; and balancing his hectic life and new engraver responsibilities is difficult

Personality: He has schizophrenia that causes him to hear things that aren't there and will sometimes respond to them. He does not mind isolation but does not hate company and attempts to receive them as best as possible.

History: He was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally; and a deep hatred of illithids

Description: He wears a violet shirt with thin tan vertical stripes and black pants. He has a moderate pudge and is not very fit. His long silver hair is drawn into a two foot long braid. He is missing an eye and his face is severely sunburned. His one remaining eye shines violet.

Personality: He has a very dry and sarcastic sense of humor. He is not one for noise or eating so much, which is in direct contrast with his big mouthed big gutted partner. His partner is his best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. He is kind towards other men and children and will generally offer men help without question. Others will generally need to prove themselves to him.

History: Jocelyn lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. He was an apprentice working in his father's forge. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.
