History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Bernard grew up listening to his father's many stories. His father was very strict, and drilled into him lessons on being the perfect gentleman. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature scythe.

Personality: He fancies himself a trickster and likes to rely on his wits to carry the day. He cares for his older siblings and likes to be recognized by them. He is skeptical of what others tell him and is slow to trust.

History: He got into the Tanner business at a young age. Being born in the west, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the west for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way east. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Personality: A skeptical and narcissistic man, Diggory's first love is himself. His second love is also himself. He is a great chef.

History: Diggory was born in the south. At a young age he loved to build and create. He always admired arcane-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. He got away from his former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

Motivation: Nothing but the best is good enough for him; and he feels the way he acts is they only way to get by in the world
