History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when gnolls swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. In his 17th year, his parents were killed by a gnolls raid, leaving Richard alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has achieved small success as a Baker.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. His mother was very strict, and drilled into him lessons on being the perfect gentleman. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

Motivation: To find somewhere to settle down; and he feels the way he acts is they only way to get by in the world

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Motivation: He is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally; and he is greedy
