Description: He stands about 5'8" and wears a custom-built plate barding that's adorned with grey lining and desert motifs. His right hand appears badly burned and disfigured. His blonde hair is kept up in a ponytail inside a deerstalker hat. He was beautiful and young once, which still shows through his age, but it is a faded beauty.

Personality: He will use flattery and sarcasm to attack and weaken his opponents. Despite his formidable combat skills he remains a coward. When he's not drinking or sleeping the drinks off, he's doing writing.

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Gerald was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He has never given up on his writing dream.

He walks with a slouch but will stand straight to his full 5'1" when asserting himself. He is bald on top and has large golden tufts of hair around his ears. His eyes are violet and catlike.

Personality: The man has a huge range of feeling. He will range from being happy and joking with the occasional self put down to crying stating how he will be a better person from this day on. He is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes him no end of embarrassment.

History: He was born in a small island village. While he appears to be a normal Human, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.

Motivation: He is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally; and he is terrified, and will act out of fear

Personality: He is a melancholic, but persistent worker. He resents family life and as such spurns the advances of admirers. He is cautious and jumpy. He reacts to every sound and lacks any concept of subtlety.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. He was an apprentice working in his father's forge. He inherited the family business which he has now maintained for 7 years.

Motivation: His relatives are trying to arrange a marriage; and wants to open a new tavern

Description: A stocky darker skinned man, he wears a violet cloak and cross-gartered brown stockings. His brown hair is singed and shortened. He has brown eyes.

Personality: He's a bit of a prankster. He knows he is clumsy and seen as such and will often feign amnesia after injury. He is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure he is not cheated out of a speck.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. Being born in the south, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the south for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way north. By chance he met his brother recently and the two have been together since.

Motivation: Wants to raise his children well.
