He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. He will pursue extreme courses of action in the short term, confident that they cannot fail.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Nicholas grew up listening to his father's many stories. His parents divorced when he was young, and his father gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his father, who blamed him for driving them apart. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: A deep hatred of orcs; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by orcs, and he desires to right it

Personality: His voice, at times compared to that of a Nymph, lambasts those who consider themselves "civilized" with snide, belittling remarks; the subtle growl he speaks with growing louder in doing so, one can find it most pronounced, despite the otherwise natural purity of his tone. He enjoys reading and quiet.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. A gifted student he started as a Soapmaker, but he got bored and became a Miller. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Miller for hire.

Motivation: Wishes to resurrect an old love; and balancing his hectic life and new miller responsibilities is difficult

Personality: He believes mankind has become decadent and spoiled by the march of civilization and an end should come to life as we know it. He can see the true alignment of people by looking at them, and uses this to pass judgement.

History: He was raised in a mountains tribe. At some point he was captured by drow and was tortured. After several years of this he finally managed to escape. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to drow demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by drow, and he desires to right it

History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Miles was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He now mingles about in high society.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever; and he is greedy
