History: Gifted from a young age, Ralf studied abroad. Ostracized due to the necromantic powers of his oldest brother, he and his siblings struck out on their own. Personality: He hates gnolls. He views them as having robbed his home of its proper glory. He will often invite strangers home for dinner and talk their ears off. He cares deeply for his spouse and does his best to make sure his guests look presentable.

History: Simon was born with his mother's beautiful face. While studying, he fell in love. They married and had a daughter. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to gnolls demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: He wants revenge against gnolls; and a deep hatred of gnolls

Personality: Soft-spoken and well mannered, he has an amazing amount of patience and a slow boiling temper. He is cautious and jumpy. He reacts to every sound and lacks any concept of subtlety.

History: Lance was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his mother was employed at, doing general labor. He dropped out of school before completing his studies. He now owns his own business.

Personality: He takes his job very seriously, in part because he fears he cannot get a new one. He is obsessed with his god.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. He tends to his Laborer job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Laborer and was forced into it by his family; and he has a rivalry with the church that dominates his actions
