History: Born in the east to a Butcher, Bernard learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Butcher work with an outfit from a few towns over. Butcher work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

Arnold was left his father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns.
