History: He was born in the east. Through the years after Peter was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Peter's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He became a Scribe soon after.

History: Ernest was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his mother was employed at, doing general labor. In his 12th year, his parents were killed by a orcs raid, leaving Ernest alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to orcs demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by orcs, and he desires to right it
