History: Born the oldest of a large religious northern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. His mother was a soldier and died while he was still young. Charles was left his mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He now mingles about in high society.

He was a hard man then and has only learned to fight more as time goes on. Since then, he has sought to make the best of life.
